On Sunday 14 September, a number of Gazechim Group employees took part in World Cleanup Day, organised by the Project Rescue Ocean association in Béziers.
This eco-citizenship morning brought together hundreds of volunteers, who collected 3.94 tonnes of rubbish on the banks of the Canal du Midi and the river Orb as well as on the outskirts of the town.
Our teams, some of whom were accompanied by their families, took an active part in the event. It was a great opportunity to raise awareness amongst young and old of the need to protect our environment and the importance of collective action to preserve the planet.
Congratulations to all the employees involved for their energy and commitment, and a big “well done” to Project Rescue Ocean for organising the event, which brought citizens, charities, businesses and institutions together to pursue the common goal of working together to achieve a more sustainable future.
