Every year, the French and foreign subsidiaries of our Composites Unit look forward to an unmissable event held at Villepinte: the JEC WORLD trade show.
This time round, JEC WORLD, which showcases composite materials and their applications, took place between 25 and 27 April. Gazechim’s composite subsidiaries were joined by their main partners – Hexcel, Owens Corning, Polynt, Chomarat, among others – and could use the three-day event to meet their customers and suppliers.
The Gazechim Group’s exhibit was an excellent mirror of the Composites Unit with its cosmopolitan feel: all European languages could be heard at the bar
tables, in the lounge or in the meeting spaces. At any hour of the day, our partners could be found at the exhibit discussing with our subsidiaries’ representatives, with a drink and a platter of Spanish charcuteries readily available!
The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, just like the new stand (the stand is rebuilt every two years) which used wood, green spaces and lounge furniture. A place conducive to chats.
“Our attendance at JEC WORLD each year lets us boost our Group’s image and that of being a market leader in the distribution of composites,” Jean-Marc Libes, Composites Unit Director, explained. “This trade show is the largest event that Gazechim Group participates in and is a chance for all of us to meet. All our teams should be aware of how important it is to create strong bonds with our customers but also our special partners, during these three days.”
