Have you heard of the Airscooter? It’s a personal VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) machine, which allows you to fly independently, without a pilot’s licence. It was developed by Franky Zapata, 3-time world jet ski champion and best known for inventing the Flyboard.
Composites Distribution is involved in manufacturing the Airscooter, in that they supply the M90aero prepregs and reinforcements, fabrics, resins and vacuum bagging products, including G’Vac and Aerovac.
The aim is to be producing one Airscooter a day in 2 years.
