Reverso: a foldable sailboat

Have you heard of Reverso, a foldable sailboat that can be assembled in 180 seconds? This innovation was invented by Antoine Simon, a sailing instructor and airline pilot, who designed a 3.40m dinghy that, once dismantled, takes up no more space than a large suitcase.

Every Reverso is equipped with a Black Membrane sail, like those of the Vendée Globe IMOCA yachts, a 2.95kg carbon mast, and a rigid folding hull. It weighs 57kg and takes just a few minutes to assemble, with no technical knowledge required.

This Made in France product has seen strong growth since it was launched in 2016. Its manufacturer is none other than Ouest Composites, a Gazechim Composites France customer that supplies Polynt resin, multiaxial glass fabrics, and Lantor felts.
