Every year, the month of October is dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer. This cause is particularly close to our hearts because it affects so many women, families and colleagues. That\u2019s why the Gazechim Group<\/strong> has decided to show its commitment with concrete, supportive actions.<\/p>\n

A large number of employees took part in the Pink Walk<\/strong> that took place in B\u00e9ziers on Sunday 5 October. The friendly, supportive event was organised by B\u00e9lise<\/strong>, an association that has been supporting breast cancer patients in the B\u00e9ziers region for the past six years, and served as a reminder of the importance of prevention.<\/p>\n

The Group\u2019s involvement continued into Wednesday 22 October, with an awareness-raising workshop for all employees based in B\u00e9ziers, and led by Dr H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Harmand-Icher, president and founder of the B\u00e9lise association. At the meeting, participants were able to learn the right preventive measures they could take, in a friendly environment, and practise checking their own breasts. At the end of the workshop, discussion session gave everyone a better understanding of the issues involved in screening.<\/p>\n
